Hotel Rules

Check-in/Check-out Times

Check-in time is at 4:00 pm. Room assignments before that time are on a "space-available" basis only. Check-out time is at 11:00 am.

Food and Beverages

Due to legal liability and licensing restrictions, only Hyatt purchased food and beverage may be served on the property. If your group is hosting a party suite, please speak with the hotel about your needs for food and beverages. The Querent staff are also happy to help you coordinate with the hotel.

Package Shipping and Receiving

The Hyatt Regency Cincinnati will only accept pre-paid packages. A $10.00 per box handling fee will apply to all shipments to or from the hotel. Any packages delivered COD will be refused by the Hotel and no notification will be made by the Hotel to the shipper. All packages must contain a label giving the following information: 

  • Name of the guest that will be receiving on property
  • Date of guest arrival
  • Organization name that is shipping the materials and the return address
  • Appropriate Program at property the materials are for: i.e., XYZ Company Annual Meeting l 0/17 /08
  • Number of boxes: example, box l of l, box l of 2, etc.
The Hyatt Regency Cincinnati shall not be liable for safe or timely arrival of any packages sent to the Hotel by or for the Group. It is the Group's responsibility to check on the arrival of any packages and to check to ensure that the contents are intact. The Hotel accepts no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged goods. 

Promotional Materials

Nothing should be posted on, nailed, screwed, or otherwise attached to columns, walls, floors, or other parts of the building or furniture. Distribution of promotional gummed stickers or labels is strictly prohibited. The Querent organizers provide a literature table, easels for displaying daily programming schedules, and groups hosting events in party rooms may have their events listed in the guidebook.

Reservations Policy

All reservations made are subject to hotel cancellation policy. All reservations can be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to arrival. All reservations not cancelled within 24 hours of arrival or if the guest does not show, they are subject to a one-night room and tax no show fee. 

Smoking/Non-Smoking Policy

In the interests of protecting guests from second-hand smoke, the Hotel has converted one hundred percent ( l 00%) of our guest rooms to non-smoking rooms. A charge of $250.00 will be assessed to deep clean any guest room that is left with smoking residue. Designated smoking areas may be found anywhere outside and not closer than 800 feet to any entrance of the hotel.
